They Got You Hooked on Your Cell Phone...and Then They Hooked You.

I believe that in the future - the battle for control of humans...will not be marauding invaders who break and destroy and bulldoze over...

it will, instead, be a battle for the mind, taking place through -

possibly - the listening end of a cell phone - through wireless connection and technological control.

I have been writing and sharing with readers all over the world about all kinds of misunderstood developments and occurrences that have taken place over the last 20 or so years. That's right - right after 9/11.

Let's talk about what happened with cell phones during that time. Prior to 9/11 and around the mid 90s...the idea of cell phones was introduced to the public as a way to have the ability to communicate at a moment's notice.

Now, going back prior to this, if I look back at my own life - I can tell you that we had to wait until we got home to talk to someone. There were no phones in the car. And that's because the phone was hooked into the kitchen wall. Wired in. A land line. And now you're thinking - how antiquated!

So, if my car broke down - I walked to a gas station with an empty can and got a ride back to my car to partially fill the tank. It took work - back then - but still, it wasn't that bad.

If there was an emergency - well, it just had to wait. News spread, but not so quickly. And we all dealt with it.

I mean, whoever said that just because we are alive today that we deserve instant fixing? And instant information.

Looking back, the only way that we had to communicate  in writing was letters that we wrote and were sent in the mail...U.S.PS...sometimes hearing back from another person took up to a week or longer.

Still, no matter how hard it seemed to be and without ease of quick connection - at least, in the past, we had our freedom. It was a more simple time.

But I want to take a moment here and talk about this modern day "phone issue." The constant need to talk. The nonstop texting. The inability to be quiet and reflect or even the fact that a person just can't slow down or get away from the phone - and this is without the feeling that they are missing out on something big taking place over wires, hardware and software application. In the cyberworld, in fact. And this all greatly disturbs me.

Thinking back...right about 1995 or shortly thereafter...we all started getting flip-top phones. Motorola. That was the only phone available. I also suppose looking back that there was something or someone out there that was counting on people getting addicted to cell phone use. And also the need to have a phone. The ones who planned it - probably knew that one thing would lead to another in this addiction and that people would disregard other humans over time in their quest for autonomy and self importance.

Maybe there was even a committee who took the steps to ensure that getting a phone into all human hands would take place without a hitch.

As it turned out, cell phones blew into existence like a whirlwind. They were suddenly everywhere. All the time. And the more time that passed, the more escalated the use of cell phones.

These phones were even placed in the hands of natives in a remote village in Africa...and I am not really sure why this took place. Someone was doing the rounds and making sure the phones got placed though. That was obvious. The concept I am guessing - is if we can track all people - we can gain power and control.

And so, cell phones became a way of life. A regimented and measured way of thinking and living. Cell phones allowed us instant notice. Instant rescue. They became our ability to find someone when they were all alone or frightened.

And so, once cell phones were introduced...people started buying... and each year - we traded up to a new model. It was expensive and time consuming and something that gradually began to take over all of our lives, only we were not getting outside the phone to see it. We were completely unaware.

Then someone and many other someone's - started social media sites - another instant for all. Correction - other instants. Instant connection. Instant gratification. Instant help. Instant friends. Instant desire. Instant pleasure. And instant recognition. And all of these instants and those social media sites - began to consume us and take up our time.

Time. Valuable time. We have wasted so much of it. The time we should have been working. Or the time we needed to make something right with another person - only the phone was there taking us somewhere else.

And how about the time we should have been spending with family? There were times we should have been communicating with someone standing near us in line...and instead we shunned them in favor of the little item nestled warmly in our hands or being held up against our head.

Oh, I know what you might be thinking here - you still do the family things. But I have to disagree on one big issue - and that is this - if you are going on a picnic and each person sitting on the ground on a blanket is holding a phone to their ear...we are not on the same page. In fact, you are not on the same page.

And I believe, that this was and is the beginning of a system intended to control our minds. To weaken resistance and break down resolve.

Still, without most of us being aware of the changes in all of this technology - there was and still is, little recognition in any of us that something like mind control is even faintly possible.

Even from the beginning moment and in the cell phone infancy. We still had freedoms, after all. And we were allowed to keep buying phones, to shop, to party...and to hang out with others. So, because technology was bringing us so much pleasure...we began to disregard any idea there was a negative connotation to how or what was actually happening to us.

And somewhere in the last 20 years - we began to be listened to. GPS'd and followed as we made our ways to and from life's functions and fun times. This all happened via our cell phones.

Now, it is important to note that if a family member or co-worker or friend wasn't doing the tracking and following in our phone - then there was and is the possibility that someone higher up was looking for detail about our lives...and because we were having so much fun - we just handed them our privacy.   And ignored the possibilities.

Who knows what or who exactly this higher up is...I am not here to name names - because I don't know those names...but let's just say that someone in charge wanted and still wants all of the worker bees and societal lesser ones to be accounted for and their whereabouts noted at all times...that is most likely the culprit.

Should we be giving these unknowns all of the privacy and information about our lives? Letting them hear our most intimate conversations? Giving them our opinions that they can use against us?

Should we be searching for pleasure and excitement in life at the expense of losing our freedoms?

You might think that what I am saying is too strong...but let me just say that if there is something called organized stalking...(i.e gang stalking)....then there is most certainly a prying into the lives of the innocents.

I further believe cell phones are used in organizational stalking in an attempt - to send and receive signals for harassment.

Now, if we were to look back in history - all people were mindlessly going about their business and seeking a pleasurable existence when they were hit out of nowhere by the unexpected and their lives were changed forever.

These unexpected occurrences happened and can happen any time and all the time...and humans should be aware of what is taking place around them.

Amazingly, even a hummingbird looks over his shoulders while swigging nectar - he or she knows there is danger lurking close by, but is able to live around the danger to have a cooling drink.

"Unexpected circumstances befall us all" - this is from the Bible. This means that no matter who we are or what we think we are - none of us can escape life's events. Or changes. Or the ill will of those out there who choose to do us wrong. If we are aware...that can make the difference.

What is that unexpected?

A volcano erupting and covering up an entire town and people. Severe drought. Pestilence. Famine. Homelessness. A hurricane sweeping along the eastern seaboard and obliterating everything in its path. Flooding. And loss of life. A tornado ripping buildings and throwing debris everywhere as it spins horribly out of control. A wildfire burning homes and destroying the animals that are tucked away in the world around it.

Physical ailments. Disease. Illness. Also, the unexpected.

The unknown can also be an invasion or takeover and a loss of what we know as living a carefree life.

This unexpected can even be at societal level in the form of leadership. There is always change.

We take so much for granted and then it is gone.

Vulnerability. Frailness. And a frailty of living. This is humankind.

So, as far as the cell phone, I just want to say that if we are always on the phone - talking...distracted... immersed in technology and closed away from what is actually happening in life...and if we are hooked into an otherworldly reality based not in the here and now...well, we are then not prepared and not aware and are thereby left vulnerable to life, living, and strong predators in human form.

For I believe that in the future - the battle for control of humans...will not be marauding invaders who break and destroy and bulldoze over... it will, instead, be a battle for the mind taking place through - possibly - the listening end of a cell phone - through wireless connection and technological control. All done through signals.

And if this is so - can we afford to lose our freedom?

Sincerely,

Carla
